About the role

The Group CFO leads finance across the group's textile, yarn, and garment manufacturing and trading operations in the UAE, Indonesia, and international markets. The role partners with the Board on strategy, capital allocation, and performance, with accountability for financial control, compliance, and profitability across all entities.

Responsibilities include financial planning, consolidated reporting, multi-country tax compliance, treasury, textile costing and working capital, finance team leadership, and ERP and reporting automation. The role requires 15+ years in finance, including 7+ years as a CFO, Group Finance Head, or Finance Director.

Key responsibilities

Define and deliver the Group financial strategy, annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-range plan.
Advise the Board on investments, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions.
Deliver timely consolidated IFRS reporting and enforce group-wide policies, internal controls, and delegation of authority.
Lead audits and drive prompt closure.
Ensure compliance with UAE and Indonesian tax requirements and manage group tax structuring.
Manage banking relationships, trade finance, FX exposure, liquidity, and cross-border fund flows.
Oversee textile costing, margins, raw-material exposure, inventory, working capital, plant efficiency, and capex ROI.
Lead finance teams across countries, set and review KPIs, and drive ERP and reporting automation.

Requirements

Qualified: CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) is mandatory; MBA is an advantage.
Experience: 15+ years in finance, including 7+ years as CFO / Group Finance Head / Finance Director.
Industry: Textile, yarn or garment industry background, ideally across both manufacturing and trading.
Geography: Proven multi-operation, multi-environment finance leadership across UAE and Indonesia.
Technical: IFRS, UAE VAT / Corporate Tax and Indonesian tax and statutory framework; ERP exposure.
Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
Decisive, results-driven, with firm follow-through and exacting standards.
Commanding executive presence with Board, bankers, regulators and plant leadership; strong negotiator.
Fast-paced, high-energy operator, comfortable with pressure and tight deadlines; uncompromising on integrity and governance.
