Research and Development Scientist

• Develop and optimise formulations for new and existing pharmaceutical products.
• Plan and conduct pre-formulation, compatibility, formulation, and process-development studies in laboratory and pilot-scale settings.
• Perform and monitor stability studies in line with approved protocols and relevant ICH principles.
• Evaluate trial results, troubleshoot formulation or process issues, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare accurate R&D reports, trial records, specifications, SOPs, and technical documents to support scale-up, technology transfer, and regulatory activities.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, Production, and Procurement while maintaining GMP/CPOB, GLP, and safety compliance.

• S1/S2 in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical R&D, formulation development, analytical development, or a related laboratory role.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/CPOB, GLP, GDocP, ICH principles, and pharmacopoeial standards.
• Hands-on experience in formulation trials, stability studies, and laboratory or pilot-scale product development.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis, and dissolution testing.
• Strong analytical thinking, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Preferred: experience with solid dosage, sterile products, technology transfer, method development/validation, or regulatory dossier support.
