COST ENGINEER IN MELAK

• Prepare and review cost estimates for hauling road construction works.
• Responsible for monitoring and analyzing actual project costs against the approved RAP/budget and standards
• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost breakdown structures and cost codes.
• Monitor actual project costs against budget and forecast; identify and report variances.
• Review and verify contractor/subcontractor progress claims, invoices and BOQs.
• Prepare cash flow projections and cost forecasts for the project.
• Coordinate with site engineers, planning/scheduling and procurement teams.
• Support tender evaluation and cost benchmarking for materials, equipment and subcontractor packages.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and present cost status to project management.
• Assist in change order/variation cost evaluation and claims support.

• 3+ years experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance or a related field.
• Languages: English
• Highway construction (preferred)
