About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial management of its asset management operations, with strong hands-on SAP proficiency. Candidates with a finance background from an insurance company's investment or asset management function are strongly preferred.

Key responsibilities

Manage financial operations for the asset management division, including investment portfolio accounting
Oversee SAP-based financial reporting, reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing processes
Prepare investment performance reports, NAV computations, and portfolio valuation reports
Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (OJK / insurance regulatory bodies)
Coordinate with investment, actuarial, and compliance teams on asset-liability matching
Support budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting for asset management operations
Liaise with auditors, custodians, and fund administrators
Drive process improvements and SAP system enhancements for finance operations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting; CA/CPA/CFA preferred
5-8 years of finance experience, with prior background in an insurance company's asset/investment management function
Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP (FI/CO modules)
Solid understanding of investment accounting, NAV computation, and portfolio valuation
Familiarity with insurance regulatory reporting requirements
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Based in or willing to relocate to Jakarta
