Seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead a key manufacturing plant in Nigeria's FMCG sector.

About the role

The Factory GM holds full P&L accountability for the plant, driving operational excellence across production, commercial performance, safety, quality, and people leadership as the senior site leader.

Key responsibilities

Hold full P&L accountability for plant operations and production planning.
Drive continuous improvement to optimise cost, yield, and quality.
Own the factory P&L and cost budgets.
Align production planning with sales/demand forecasts.
Ensure HSE and food safety compliance across all operations.
Lead and develop a multi-functional factory team.
Represent the factory in Group/Regional reviews.

Requirements

15+ years experience
Bachelor's in Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing, or Business (MBA advantageous).
Languages: English
MBA (preferred)
IIT (preferred)
Engineer (preferred)
