About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Sales – Vaccines to lead field sales teams and deliver national and regional business objectives in Indonesia. You will set the commercial strategy, build strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders, and develop high-performing sales leaders.

Key responsibilities

Lead field sales teams to achieve national and regional business objectives, and develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with corporate and brand objectives.
Drive commercial excellence through effective planning, execution, and performance management; monitor sales performance, identify business opportunities, and implement corrective actions to ensure sustainable growth.
Build strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and external experts, leveraging scientific and medical knowledge to strengthen customer understanding and position the organization as a trusted healthcare partner.
Lead, coach, and develop field sales leaders to build high-performing teams, through structured coaching, talent development, and succession planning.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams to improve business effectiveness and organizational performance.

Requirements

Ideally 10–15 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with substantial field sales exposure.
Proven experience in regional or national sales leadership and managing multiple sales teams; prior experience in a similar sales leadership position is essential.
Vaccine industry experience is a strong advantage; experience in Pediatrics, Cardiovascular, or Metabolic therapeutic areas is also preferred.
Marketing Managers with a strong background in field sales and team leadership are also encouraged to apply.
Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, strategic planning, and people-management skills.
