Export Sales Manager

• Manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale agents and distributors, leading business reviews, range presentations, and reorder planning.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new retail and contract accounts, especially in South Africa and Australia, from first contact through sample approval to confirmed PO.
• Build relationships with interior contractors, FF&E agents, and hospitality buyers, supporting specification and sampling for hotel and commercial projects.
• Drive sales through wholesalers, rug importers, and buying agents supplying the residential retail market.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and incoterms, coordinating with production, finance, and the admin team on delivery and logistics.
• Advise clients on construction, fibre, weight, and performance ratings, and coordinate with production, design, and customers on custom design, sampling, and new product development.
• Maintain CRM pipeline data, submit monthly forecasts and territory reports, and flag pricing and competitor activity.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs and support catalogues, line sheets, and decks.

• 7–10 years of B2B sales experience, with a meaningful portion in export or internationalmarkets.
• Direct experience in the carpets and rugs industry (tufting carpet preferred, or othersoft flooring) on the manufacturer, importer, or distributor side.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing account revenue.
• Hands-on experience managing both wholesale/agent relationships and direct B2Baccounts.
• Familiarity with export commercial terms (incoterms, LC, TT, DP) and shippingdocumentation.
• Experience representing a company at international flooring or textile trade fairs.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related discipline.
• Professional-level English (written and spoken); German, Dutch, French, or Spanish is a strong advantage.
