About the role

Lead end-to-end procurement of raw materials critical to carpet and rug manufacturing. Own supplier sourcing, cost negotiation, import logistics, and inventory planning to ensure uninterrupted production supply.

Key responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers for raw materials
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts
Manage import logistics including shipping schedules and customs clearance
Monitor global raw material market trends and pricing
Maintain optimal inventory levels
Verify incoming raw material quality
Coordinate with production, planning, and finance
Identify alternative sourcing options and opportunities

Requirements

5–8 years experience
Languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bahasa Indonesia, English
Understanding of import processes (preferred)
Incoterms (preferred)
International trade documentation (preferred)
Established supplier network (preferred)
Working knowledge of Hindi (preferred)
Working knowledge of Tamil (preferred)
Working knowledge of Telugu (preferred)
