About the role

This is an additional Cost Control and Finance Manager requirement, for the Melak site. We are looking for an experienced cost control and finance leader with a mining/construction contractor background to manage cost control and finance functions at the Melak site.

Key responsibilities

Lead cost control and finance operations at the Melak site.
Monitor and control operational and project costs across mining/construction contractor activities.
Analyse major cost components and track against budget and forecast.
Prepare and review site P&L, cost reports and variance analysis for management.
Oversee site finance operations including cash flow, AP/AR and financial reporting.
Partner with Operations, Procurement, Warehouse and Project teams to drive cost efficiency and budget discipline.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls and statutory requirements.
Provide leadership, guidance and development to the site cost control and finance team.

Requirements

5+ years experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or a related field; a relevant Master's degree is an advantage.
Languages: English
Master's degree (preferred)
